Architectural models can serve a variety of very useful purposes that 3D computer modelling cannot. More than anything they can help convince others of a project's merit. But also they can help inform the design process by letting the designer and client apprehend an entire space and the relationships between different landscape, site and architectural elements in a single moment. They can also inform how a project can be built and the order of works needed to complete it.
